The Society provides local, regional and national networking opportunities through meetings and conferences which allow members to establish contacts within the profession. The mission of the Ft. Walton Beach chapter is "to serve its members by supporting the goals and objectives of ASWA through programs and services." The Ft Walton Beach chapter promotes education by awarding one or more scholarships each year to local accounting students and sponsors a local student in the ASWA national scholarship competition.
